Our story
Coastal Ridge began in 2006 when Pieter and Annelie Steyn bought their first bakkie-load of tools and took on re-roofs in Berea's leafy streets. Their sons grew up on the scaffolding – today they run the crews.
Eighteen years later we have replaced or repaired well over a thousand roofs from Amanzimtoti to Ballito. We have learned exactly what the coast does to shortcuts, which is why our specifications look heavier than some competitors' quotes – because they outlast them.
We remain deliberately medium-sized: small enough that a Steyn still inspects every job personally, big enough to run three full crews with proper scaffolding, safety files and insurance.
