Garden FAQs

When is the best time to plant?

Autumn and spring suit most planting on the coast, but indigenous fynbos and aloes establish well through winter too. We plan installation timing around each species.

Do you really save water with indigenous gardens?

Yes - once established (usually after the first year), water-wise plantings typically need a fraction of the irrigation of exotic beds. We design irrigation around that reality.

Can you take over an existing maintenance mess?

Regularly. We start with a rehabilitation assessment, correct pruning damage gradually (never hacking a stressed plant), and bring beds back over one or two seasons.

How far do you travel?

Our maintenance teams work from Mossel Bay to Knysna; design projects take us anywhere along the Garden Route and into Oudtshoorn.
