Crafted by hand, checked by laser

Founded in 2015 by third-generation tiler Sipho Dlamini, TileCraft exists because "good enough" tiling never is.

Our story

Sipho learned the trade from his grandfather in Durban, where a level bubble and a straight edge were instruments of pride. After years watching rushed jobs fail within two winters in Rustenburg's climate, he started TileCraft with one crew and an obsession: preparation before beauty.

Today our teams lay thousands of square metres across the North West - from mine-town family homes in Boitekong to estate renovations in Protea Park. Every floor is set out from the doorway, every shower is waterproofed and flood-tested, every job ends with a joint-by-joint inspection under raking light.

We train our own apprentices through structured programmes, pay proper wages, and guarantee workmanship in writing for five years. Craft is a promise, not a name on a van.

The TileCraft standard

  • Set-out discipline

Every room planned from its entrance so cuts land where they belong - not in a sliver at the far wall.

  • Certified wet areas

Waterproofing membranes applied, reinforced and tested. Showers are built to hold water even if grout cracks.

  • Millimetre pride

Lippage measured, joints aligned, corners mitred. We inspect our own work harder than any client would.

Why customers choose us

  • Five-year written warranty on all workmanship
  • Certified waterproofing with flood testing in wet areas
  • Free measuring and quotes within 48 hours
  • Dust-controlled cutting – homes stay liveable during works
  • Directly employed tilers, no rotating subcontractors
