Founded in 2012 by two trade-tested electricians with one rule that still governs every job: if it is not safe enough for our own families, it does not leave the site.
Our story
Kilowatt Electrical started in a Hatfield garage with a bakkie, a tester and a phone that never seemed to stop ringing. Word travelled fast in Pretoria's suburbs: these are the electricians who show up when they say they will and whose work passes inspection first time.
Today our teams handle everything from single plug points in Waverley cottages to full office retrofits in Menlyn. What has not changed is the discipline: systematic fault finding, fixed quotes upfront, and certificates you can take to the bank.
We are proudly local – our electricians live in the suburbs they serve, and we train apprentices through proper registered programmes rather than shortcuts.
