Our story
Anja massaged at bush lodges for years; Lerato managed restaurants. Acorn & Oak married the two skills: therapy with genuine hospitality, on a garden stand where the oaks set the pace.
What started as one treatment room is now a full little spa - massage rooms, a facial suite, a nail corner and the couples room under the biggest oak in the yard. The veranda tea trolley remains the most-loved feature.
We employ Lowveld therapists, buy marula oil from local producers, and keep the guest list small enough that we greet return visitors by name. Because that is what a neighbourhood spa should be.
